NEY PUR Cleaner (blue wax) is a hot melt product used for cleaning melting units, hoses and application units in which reactive PUR hot melt adhesives are processed.

Application

When PUR hot melt adhesives are used, the application units, especially those with nozzles, have to be completely cleaned with the nozzles filled during periods of machine stand-stills (e.g. at night or at weekends), or whenever the systems are changed. This can easily be done by means of feeding and melting the hot melt cleaning agent.

Storage and Shelf Life

NEY PUR Cleaner can be stored for approximately 2 years in a cool dry place.

Note: when hot melts are melted and applied, vapours are released and unpleasant odours can occur, even if the recommended working temperature has been observed.  Moreover, if the recommended working temperature is exceeded over a longer period, harmful decomposition products can develop.

Therefore, suitable ventilation should be provided to eliminate such vapours.
